Patriot Day

Patriot Day is an annual observance on September 11 to remember those who were injured or died during the terrorist attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001. Many Americans refer to Patriot Day as 9/11 or September 11.

The September 23 League Membership Meeting will be hosted by the City of Brentwood. Tom Blair with MoDOT will be the keynote speaker.

Columbus Day

Columbus Day, which is on the second Monday of October, remembers Christopher Columbus' arrival to the Americas on October 12, 1492. This holiday is controversial because the European settlement in the Americas led to the demise of the history and culture of the indigenous peoples.

Affiliate Open House

The City of Bridgeton is hosting the League's first Affiliate Open House as a way of thanking the affiliates for their continued support of the League and the outstanding services they provide for communities throughout the region.  The reception is open to all League members.
