ELECTED OFFICIALS TRAINING CONFERENCE

Sessions will focus on the fundamentals of municipal government and how municipalities fit in to our Federal system of government. The session will explore the basis for authority for municipal government and how it is limited.  Session will also review the distinctions between municipal classifications, as well as the appropriate roles and duties for local officials serving as legislators or executives.
