Municipal League of Metro St. Louis Reestablishes St. Louis Regional Caucus

The Municipal League of Metro St. Louis facilitated the reestablishment of the St. Louis Regional Caucus, a bi-partisan group of legislative representatives from St. Louis City and surrounding counties.

The goal of the St. Louis Regional Caucus is to encourage an open dialogue on local issues in an attempt to foster bipartisan cooperation with Jefferson City.  As representatives of the economic region of the state, the St. Louis Regional Caucus aims strengthen the region and the state through a coordinated effort with its caucus partners in Jefferson City.

The second meeting was held on January 23, in Jefferson City.  John Nations, CEO of Bi-State presented information on the newly established Freight District.   More than 35 legislators participated.
